Come hear Taylor Adams, a Northampton native, speak and show photos and footage from his May 2019 expedition to the roof of the world-- Mt. Everest. At 29,029 feet, Everest is well into the "death zone." On one of the mountain's deadliest years on record, Taylor was able to summit even with the added burden of being a type 1 diabetic, making him the 4th diabetic and 2nd with an insulin pump to ever make it to the top of the world's highest peak.
